Object Description: This wonderfully complex star forming region in the constellation Cepheus includes bright Hydrogen emission nebulae, blue reflection nebulae, a yellow reflection nebula close to a variable nebula, and dark nebulae. The bright central emission nebula is classified as Sharpless2-155, popularly called the "Cave Nebula". The brightest of the three blue reflection nebulae is vdb155. Also between the two dimmer blue reflection nebulae is what appears to be a variable nebula, a newly formed star winking in and out of the dark dust clouds, and creating a rare yellow reflection nebula.
