Object Description: These two dim emission nebula, IC59 at top center and IC63 to its' left, are being ionized by the fiercely bright blue star Gamma Cassiopeia, a type B0IV star. The energetic winds from the star are sculpting the hydrogen gas and dust in these nebulae into "ghostly" apparitions. The image is oriented North up. Telescope:
