B72 "Snake Nebula" in Ophiuchus

Object Description: The curving dark nebula on the right center of the image is known as “The Snake Nebula”, cataloged as Barnard72. The large dark nebula on the left is B77. At the top is B261. Strung across the bottom are B76, B74, B73, B71, B70, B69, and B68. The image is oriented North up.

Image Processing: ImagesPlus 3.80 used for data reduction, alignment, MinMaxExc combine, initial DDP. PSCS2 used for levels, curves, and color enhancement. GradX for background equalization.
