Another Saturday and we are racing against a coming rainstorm. Here is the floor almost completed. The strip left undone will have a trap door installed. This is so I can install or change any necessary control and communication cabling to the scope. You can see the Japanese garden in the background. I also setup the wedge on the pier so we can make sure Polaris will be above the walls. Just want to make sure, you always wonder how good your measurements and estimates are. |

The walls go up! Braced in place, we put two lag bolts in the base every 16". Cross bracing in each corner to insure stability. Now come the rains and we are done for the weekend. The sides go on next week and we can start on the sliding roof support beams. Seven day forecast calls for precipitation next weekend, of course. |
